{"id":617,"date":"2015-06-02T17:24:20","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T07:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/adolescentsourfuture.com\/?p=617"},"modified":"2022-01-21T16:55:25","modified_gmt":"2022-01-21T05:55:25","slug":"sdsn-global-youth-initiative-launch-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/adolescentsourfuture.com\/sdsn-global-youth-initiative-launch-event\/","title":{"rendered":"SDSN Global Youth Initiative Launch Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the evening of June 4, 2015 in Paris, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/unsdsn.org\/\">Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN)<\/a>\u00a0will launch a new initiative, SDSN Youth (SDSN-Y), to empower youth globally to create sustainable development solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The launch event will feature addresses from the following leaders in sustainable development:\u00a0<strong>Tarja Halonen,\u00a0<\/strong>Former President of Finland;\u00a0<strong>Johan Rockstr\u00f6m<\/strong>, Executive Director of the Stockholm Resilience Centre;\u00a0<strong>Jeffrey Sachs<\/strong>, Director of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN); and\u00a0<strong>Laurence Tubiana<\/strong>, Special Representative for the 2015 Paris Climate Conference and French Ambassador for Climate Change.<\/p>\n<p>The presentations will be followed by an audience Q&amp;A and reception. The event is free and open to the public, though RSVP is required at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sdsn-y.eventbrite.com\/\">sdsn-y.eventbrite.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can join the conversation online
