To reach this goal, WHO is&nbsp;forming an Advisory Group for Adolescent Health Metrics, which will meet twice per year. This group&nbsp;will advise WHO on all issues around measurement of adolescent health, through coordinating&nbsp;ongoing measurement activities, prioritising indicators, identifying gaps in information, and&nbsp;providing guidance and tools for measuring and monitoring the health of adolescents.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-align: start;\">Further details regarding the role and justify;\">Selection criteria<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To be selected for this incredible opportunity to work with experts with great experience in the adolescent health field, the young professional must be 18-29 years of age, and have:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A health-related academic background;<\/li>\n<li>Broad understanding of adolescent health;<\/li>\n<li>Broad understanding of the methods for generating health information, be it through health&nbsp;information systems, health facility and household surveys, or demographic surveillance&nbsp;systems;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in representing young people in global, regional or national forums and discussions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Advisory Group will have gender and geographical balance, and broadly cover the main health&nbsp;issues adolescents face, including sexual and reproductive health, mental health, substance use,&nbsp;violence and injury, communicable diseases, NCD risks and nutrition, and
