Practitioners and policy-makers often ask, \u201cHow do we know what works?\u201d and \u201cHow do we get this evidence?\u201d<\/p><p>To assist with generating better evidence for adolescent programming and policy, in May, 2017, the UNICEF\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unicef-irc.org\/\">Office of Research \u2013 Innocenti<\/a>, \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mailman.columbia.edu\/\">Columbia University<\/a>,\u00a0and members of the\u00a0Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing\u00a0released a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/adolescentsourfuture.com\/adolescent-research-briefs\/\">series of briefs<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0<em>Conducting Research with Adolescents in Low- and Middle-Income Countries<\/em>.<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youthpower.org\/youthpower-learning-webinar-how-do-research-adolescents-living-low-and-middle-income-countries\">This webinar<\/a> offers an overview of the briefs, focusing on what is unique about research with adolescents, best practices for working with them, and key knowledge gaps.
