The largest generation of adolescents and youth in human history (1.8 billion) demands more attention and action. Adolescents and youth face unprecedented social, economic, and cultural changes, as they continue to face challenges to their wellbeing that impede their ability to contribute to their country’s economic and social growth. Without meeting their needs, we will be hard pressed to achieve the goals and targets laid out in the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n

Join us for the event<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Prof George Patton, Chair of the Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing, will present findings on – and recommendations to improve – the status of adolescent health and wellbeing worldwide.<\/p>\n

This presentation will be followed by a panel discussion from experts representing USAID, the World Bank, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and others, focused on current opportunities to integrate findings and recommendations into future policies and programs.<\/p>\n

Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in the dialogue.<\/p>\n
