MBChB, MPH, FWACP Adesegun Fatusi is a Professor of Community Medicine and Public Health and currently the Provost, College of Health Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.  He previously served as the Director of the University’s Institute of Public Health and worked with UNFPA as Reproductive Health Advisor. He is the Chair of Nigeria’s National Technical Working Group on Adolescent Health & Development, and his research and professional activities focus mainly on Adolescent Reproductive Health, Reproductive and Maternal Health Services, and Health Policy. He served as the lead consultant for the development of Nigeria’s National Policy on the Health & Development of Adolescents and Young Persons, National Reproductive Health Policy, and National Policy on HIV/AIDS. He served previously on the Ministerial Committee on Health Sector Reform in Nigeria and is currently a member of the Working Group for Nigeria’s new National Health Policy.
